Renewable Energy

The UK has made some progress in moving away from fossil fuel based energy production (such as coal), but we still have some way to go before reaching net-zero carbon emissions. Do you have any ideas how your city and your community could help expanding the renewable energy production, for instance by installing solar panels on roof tops on a large scale, by installing vertical-axis wind turbines to harness wind energy in the city etc.? How could such initiatives be financed? Or do you know of any great examples and projects in other cities/countries that you think could also work for your city, why not proposing it for your city?

What can I do here?
